Comic-Con is currently underway overseas in San Diego and one of the event's hottest panels this Summer is Warner Bros. We received a new Justice League trailer but, as well as that, our first look at Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One is here.

Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled the first-look teaser trailer to the Hall H masses and now it has made its way online too, so check it out below:
It's no secret that Spielberg is one of the best directors ever - certainly one of my favourites. It's also no secret that Ernest Cline's genius Ready Player One is one of my favourite novels of all-time. So, for those reasons alone, next year's adaptation is one of my most anticipated films ever. And our first look trailer is truly incredible. The teaser doesn't give much away - it's light on plot details - but introduces us to Tye Sheridan's Wade/Parzival and welcomes us into the OASIS - the VR world everyone basically lives in, created by James Halliday (Mark Rylance). Aside from this, the reveal just acts as an opportunity to tease the huge scale of the film and the plethora f pop-culture easter eggs and references buried within Cline's book.

My biggest fear with this film was how would Spielberg capture this world but it looks truly epic. The OASIS looks so cool and it's even more interesting knowing it will be brought to life with the use of motion-capture. As someone who ADORES this novel, it very much seems like Spielberg has really portrayed the true essence and feel of Cline's writing on the big-screen and it looks so promising. I didn't think it was possible, but I'm more excited than ever for this one.

With Steven Spielberg at the helm, and starring Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, T.J Miller, Simon Pegg, Ben Mendelsohn and Mark Rylance, Ready Player One will be arriving on March 30th, 2018.
