The first trailer for Marvel's upcoming sci-fi hero adventure has broken earth's atmosphere and has landed with a bang and features aliens, spaceships, explosions and SFX galore!
Starring Chris Pratt as the Star Lord and with Bradley Cooper on hand to voice the legendary Rocket Racoon, the film is certainly looking like it's Marvel's most ambitious movie yet - which is saying something post-Avengers.
The story follows Quill, played by Pratt, taken from Earth at age nine and in possession of a mysterious mcguffin orb. He’s grown up into a cheeky, daring adult and bumps into some unusual alien suspects, whilst at a prison, including Gamora (Zoe Saldana), a green-skinned assassin, Drax The Destroyer (Dave Bautista), a talking tree called Groot (Vin Diesel) and the beloved Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper). They break out to head to Knowhere (described as the severed head of a celestial being that has been turned into a hangout) and they have a little trouble with The Collector (Benicio del Toro), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Ronan The Accuser (Lee Pace), who are all after Pratt's mysterious object.

The trailer is amazing and will have you watching it over and over again! It's spacey and a good first indication to the awesomeness that film will bestow upon us. Check it out below:
