It's that time of year again, folks. No, I'm not talking about Christmas. It's the 2015 EE BAFTAs; when the UK dip their toes into the glamorous waters of awards and honouring some of cinema's finest achievements in the past year. Well, this evening, I'll be guiding you through the ceremony with this handy little liveblog and updating it with all the results, as they happen.
As far as the nominations go, The Grand Budapest Hotel is at the helm - with eleven nominations with Birdman and The Theory of Everything both following closely behind, with 10. Simmons is up for Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash. Rosamund Pike's up for her first BAFTA nomination too, as is Steve Carrell and a handful of others. It's a tough bunch this year and just highlights how strong 2014 was, for film.
Lord Stephen Fry is, yet again, hosting the annual British Academy Film Awards (which is going on to its 68th year running) straight from London's Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
The full list of winners can be found below and I'll be updating it as they are announced, as the event proceeds. For those of you that want to enjoy the show, in its entirety, on BBC One, at 9pm tonight, then I suggest you just close this tab, put on the kettle and catch-up on your Eastenders or something because this may spoil it for you... just a tad.
