It's that time of year again people, where film fanatics geek out and fanboys nerd out: Comic-con. With SDCC kicking off very soon, studios are beginning to tease fans for some of the stuff that's to grace the event this year. This includes some first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice images.

With Marvel absent from Hall H this Summer, you can bet that Warner Bros. are going to be going all out for Batman v Superman. I can hear the cries of the fanboys already... or is that just me? Before the panel next week, however, some first stills from the forthcoming blockbuster have been unveiled, to whet our appetites and give us something to chew on until the big guns come blazing.

Of course, you can trust Entertainment Weekly to have the stills. Featured in the shots are Henry Cavill's Superman - in a shot similar to one from the film's teaser trailer, Ben Aflleck's Batman looking epic next to the Batsignal. We also have an image featuring Jesse Einsberg's Lex Luthor but *gasp* he has hair?! We also get a look at Gal Gadot as her alter-ego Diana Prince.

When talking to EW, Cavill said, "I like to think that Man of Steel was the perspective of the world from Clark, Kal-El looking at the world and trying to exist within it. Batman v Superman is definitely more mankind's perspective of Superman." As far as the other hero in the film; here's what Affleck told the mag, "We accept that he’s played by actors with different interpretations. He’s at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life. There’s this sort of world-weariness to it…He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it, but this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical."

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
With Zack Snyder at the helm and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Einsberg, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, Scoot McNairy, Amy Adams and more, Dawn of Justice will arrive on March 25th 2016.
