Hot on the heels of the first trailers for The Magnificent Seven and The Girl on the Train which arrived yesterday, we finally have the first trailer for the forthcoming Bourne film, Jason Bourne, along with some new stills and a new poster for the project too. You know his name, now here's a look at the trailer for the continuation of his story.
Almost a decade and a half since it all began with 2002's The Bourne Identity and we're heading into the fifth instalment of the Bourne franchise. Having lost his memory and gotten it back over the course of three films, we're finally set to see Matt Damon's Jason Bourne back in action in this Summer's Jason Bourne, as he deals with the consequences of his actions. Paul Greengrass reteams with Damon too, for the first time since 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum. I love the character and this franchise so I'm very intrigued to see where Greengrass and co. take the story from here.
Early this morning, Universal Pictures debuted the first, full-length trailer for the forthcoming film and it is incredible. The trailer gives us a much better idea of what we can expect from Jason Bourne when it arrives this Summer but it doesn't give too much of the plot away either. There's action and epic sequences aplenty and it's great to see Damon back in action and kicking ass. I'm a huge fan of the Bourne franchise - especially the three Greengrass helmed ones - and I cannot wait to see this film! Accompanying the reveal, a small selection of new stills and a new poster have also been released which show off Damon in action, as well as showcasing some of the other cast members, like newcomers Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander.
