Ridley Scott is one of the best sci-fi directors working today, having revolutionised the genre with many of his films. His son, Luke Scott, is following in his footsteps, making his directorial debut with the forthcoming sci-fi horror film Morgan, about a "rapidly developing lifeform".
20th Century Fox have debuted the first, full-length trailer for the film and it seems as though Ridley's gift for directing and for sci-fi, in particular, has passed down to his son because this film looks great. Check out the Morgan trailer, embedded here:
Here's the film's official synopsis:
A corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger. With Luke Scott at the helm, Ridley Scott producing, and starring Kate Mara, Anya Taylor Joy, Rose Leslie, Toby Jones, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Paul Giamatti, Morgan is set to open on September 2nd, 2016.
