Ever since comedic genius Taika Waititi was attached to direct this Fall's forthcoming Thor: Ragnarok, I've been excited for this one. And, this afternoon, the teaser has finally arrived.

 Marvel's first of three 2017 releases, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, is a mere few weeks out but, with October quickly approaching, now couldn't be a more perfect time for our first look at Ragnarok. Check out the teaser below:

In Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
With Taika Waititi at the helm, and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, and Jeff Goldblum, Thor: Ragnarok hits the U.K on October 27th, 2017.
