Just the other day, A24 released the brilliant trailer for their upcoming film The Florida Project and, today, they're following up strong with the chilling first trailer for their upcoming psychological-horror The Killing of a Sacred Deer.

A24 debuted the trailer for director Yorgos Lanthimos' follow-up to the sublime The Lobster earlier this afternoon, and you can find it below:

I've said it before, and I will say it again: A24 are the best in the biz. The studio have been bringing their A-game to 2017, with Moonlight, A Ghost Story, and their slew of very promising (and, some, critically acclaimed) slate of films for the rest of the year and I'm one of their biggest advocates at the moment. This time, they have banked their chips in The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos' psychological horror and it looks incredible. The film premiered to some rave reviews at Cannes earlier this year, and deservedly so. The trailer is creepy and beautiful and, similarly to The Lobster, The Killing of a Sacred Deer looks like another very original and very different picture from the brilliant Lanthimos. And, of course, everyone loves a bit of Colin Farrell too. Keep your eyes peeled for this one in November.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
Steven, a charismatic surgeon, is forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice after his life starts to fall apart, when the behaviour of a teenage boy he has taken under his wing turns sinister.
With Yorgos Lanthimos at the helm, and starring Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Barrey Keoghan, Raffey Cassidy, and Alicia Silverstone, The Killing of a Sacred Deer opens in the U.K on November 17th, 2017.
