One of the many stars in attendance at this year's Glasgow Film Festival was the brilliant David Tennant, who I was lucky enough to get to chat to briefly about his latest project - the charming You, Me and Him.

CATCH UP ON THE REST OF OUR GFF COVERAGE HERE.

A former Doctor (the BBC one, not the medical kind) and MCU villain, David Tennant has taken on many acclaimed roles over his career - and become quite the household name, as a result. His latest role, however, sees him play John in Daisy Aitkens' directorial debut You, Me and Him. The film received its European Premiere at this year's Glasgow Film Festival.

Here's the synopsis:
In You, Me and Him we meet lesbian couple Olivia and Alex (Lucy Punch, Faye Marsay) who, despite their age difference, are very much in love. But as the question of pregnancy rears its head and their neighbour John (David Tennant) befriends them, they both start making some truly disastrous decisions.
A good friend of the site, Jess Armstrong (who was kind enough to film the footage you see), and I were on-hand on the red carpet to chat to the film's leading man about his character of John and the significance of the recent LGBT film movement and what it meant to the star to be a part of it with You, Me and Him.

You can watch the interview in full below:
Written and directed by Daisy Aitkens, and starring Faye Marsay, Lucy Punch, Simon Bird, and David Tennant, You, Me and Him is set to hit UK cinemas sometime in April with an exact release date TBC. The full Oasis Awais review of the film is to follow this weekend.
