To those currently studying English or to those who already have (however many years ago it may be now), William Shakespeare is common subject territory. Having written what have been hailed as, arguably, some of the greatest plays ever, his works have lent themselves to the big screen countless times before. The latest adaptation to join the ranks is the latest retelling of the playwright's renowned Macbeth, directed by Justin Kurzel. All hail.
Earlier today, the final trailer for the Michael Fassbender starring Steve Jobs released (you can watch it here) but, if you still haven't gotten enough of the actor yet, his other film, Macbeth, has received a new clip and some posters.
There's something very poetic and incredible about Shakespeare's plays, that lends them perfectly to the big-screen - bloody, brutal and beautiful. From everything we've seen and heard about the latest telling of the writer's renowned Macbeth, it looks to be another stunner and the latest trailer and posters for the film only emphasises this.
Having stormed Cannes last month with some great reviews, Justin Kurzel's Macbeth is the latest rebelling of Shakespeare's iconic play. Today, first trailer for the film has arrived and it's dark, beautiful and awesome.
