Back at the start of the year, we got word that writer Joe Carnahan had finished writing the script for the upcoming film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s hit video game Uncharted. Today, our lead has been cast. And playing the role of Nathan Drake in the forthcoming adaptation: Tom Holland.
Video game movies don’t have the best track record, which 2016 proved beyond a doubt. However, despite the fact that studios just haven’t found their footing making them, it doesn’t mean they’re going to stop trying and the Uncharted film looks like it's going to be making its attempt at breaking the curse fairly soon. Because its script is finally finished.
