This year's Comic-Con is underway, and today was a big day in Hall H, bringing lots of exciting and hugely anticipated films to San Diego. Plenty was shown at the Warner Bros. panel, inlcuding a new trailer for animated spin-off The Lego Batman Movie, which has now arrived online.

Today was a big day at Comic-Con for Warner Bros; a lot of focus was on their forthcoming DC slate where they revealed trailers for films like Wonder Woman and Justice League. Other films like Kong: Skull Island and Fantastic Beasts were also teased, as was The Lego Batman Movie. A new trailer for the film was shown and has now arrived online. Check it out below:

I was a big fan of 2014's
The Lego Movie. From everything we've seen so far, The Lego Batman Movie looks just as brilliant and certainly just as hilarious - the Comic-Con trailer above is so delightfully funny; I was in hysterics. There's plenty of charm and heart on offer, as well as some great animation and action sequences. Plot details are still thin but this reveal introduces us to Robin, voiced by Michael Cera, and The Joker, voiced by Zach Galifianakis. I especailly love Batman's relationship with his "adopted son", which should be very fun to watch.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
With Chris McKay at the helm, and starring the voice talents of Will Arnett as Batman, Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, The Lego Batman Movie hits cinemas on February 10th, 2017.

Finally, here's a bright new Comic-Con poster for the animation too:
